Costa Rica’s tallest mountain, Cerro Chirripo (3,820masl) , borders the Pérez Zeledón area to the north west , with Panama at the south east border. Irregular topography, pure abundant rivers and diverse ecosystems provide ideal conditions to produce unique coffees. Coffee is central to the region’s history, as it significantly contributed to the social and economic development, generating a culture of values and principles built on family union.

Our journey providing a soil to cup experience began 20 years ago in the region of Northern Nicaragua. Located in the fertile department of Jinotega and centered among three natural reserves sits a native coffee plantation that harvests a truly fine specialty coffee. The farm sits on a renowned volcanic soil that is the best soil for harvesting specialty coffee. This is where you will find our unique heritage, devoted to legacy and creating value. We are supremely passionate and obsessed with all the details found in our process. You can taste it in our coffees. Our experience has shown us that only through a unique skill set and these ideal conditions can a coffee producer harvest a product of truly superior quality. And only with this know-how or, Acumen, can a brand be fully in touch with the products it provides. This is how we are able to shed light for coffee consumers and create positive change. To illustrate, our products only use green coffees picked in the current year's most recent and accessible harvest, usually occurring between November and February of every year. We're excited for you to try our offering and experience the way specialty coffee should taste.
