In your face citrus sweetness balanced by plenty of pleasant spice. It's like caffeinated orange marmalade.

Notes from the curator
Coffee has been grown on the southern side of Lake Kivu for over 60 years, but, due to unrest in the region, the farms have been left abandoned for some time.
With peace returning to the area, farmers have returned to plant new coffee shrubs and cooperatives like this one have been set up to provide infrastructure.
Coffee grown in Congo tends to be more rustic, but we have found this coffee to be very clean and nuanced with notes of citrus and spice.

Not my cup of coffee
1 / 5
by Robyn Richardson
Not to my taste. I like dark chocolate but not above 90%. Strong dark chocolate flavor with bitterness.
