Heritage Roasting Company established in 2013 by Stuart and Sara Sutherland is located in the heart of Shasta Lake, California.  The dream to champion community around a top quality cup of coffee began when Stuart designed and built a coffee roaster and ran a coffee business out of their garage. The Sutherlands dreamed of having a coffeehouse to serve as a hub for community development. After training at Portland’s American Coffee and Barista School Heritage Roasting Company was born.

Today, Heritage Roasting Company is a quality name that is known throughout California and many parts of the US.  With a consistent drive to provide quality coffee, HRC supplies wholesale beans to grocery, adventure hubs, non-profits, and specialty coffee shops including their own brick and mortar, Heritage Coffeehouse.  Retail offerings includes online shopping to ensure this amazing coffee can be made available to everyone.

As community champions, who offer seed-to-cup traceability and ethically sourced coffee, Heritage Roasting Company is more than a business.  It is an authentic expression of connecting people through a quality coffee experience.
