Fully Washed, Decaffeinated: Mountain Water Process
Notes from the curator
This Fair Trade and organic decaf coffee has been soaked in water (not chemicals) to remove the caffeine. This process is known as water process. It creates a clean cup and preserves the natural flavor notes of the coffee. It's so good, you won't believe it's decaf!
The flavor profile features a bright pop citrus zest with lots of chocolate and baking spice notes. It was decaffeinated at Descamex in Veracruz, Mexico using the water process, a natural chemical-free method which removes 99.9% of caffeine without negatively affecting the coffee’s flavor profile. Win win, and you can sleep at night!
