I'm normally a person who leans to dark roast coffee. I decided to switch it up this time and go after a medium roast bean, and am glad I did. Rabbit's Yirgacheffe is nice and well balanced. I'm not trained in how to best explain the taste nuances of coffee, but this was mellow, sweet with a hint of candy -- maybe caramel or chocolate. It was really a nice way to start the day. Happy I tried it, this roaster gets 2 thumbs up! Will definitely try again.
