Notes from the curator

Rosalba Cifuentes Tovia was born in Tapachula, Mexico and then raised in an area between there and Bella Vista. After making her way to the US at a young age she began learning more about the coffee commodity business and networking around the San Francisco Bay Area. After hearing stories from relatives back home about buyers paying below market prices for coffee, she began to learn about the specialty coffee market as a way to help her local community in Mexico. Now we can bring it to you!
