Notes from the curator
This creamy, balanced coffee comes from the Mines Gerais region of Brazil. Serra Negra (“black mountain”) is a Brazilian profile that captures the classic profile of the region: nutty with a mild acidity and heavy body. When brewed, this naturally processed Brazilian coffee is balanced with base notes of mixed nuts and cocoa along with an acidity that reminds us of cooked apples in an apple pie.
