Spinn is one of best coffee maker in market. Flavor of brew is like having popular coffee chain at the comfort of your own home. Customer service is top notch and very knowledgeable. I can't help but recommend it. For such a large investment, Spinn should offer extended warranty or at least two year warranty for customer.
In two years, we have made over 2800 cups of coffee with this machine. The simplicity and reliability have made it an absolute delight to use. We recently realized that due to a number of back-to-back brewing sessions (hosting company and everyone wants an espresso!), the residue bin has warped and melted. My replacement is on the way, and I look forward to the machine being good as new. While I'm a little disappointed that this piece literally couldn't take the heat, it's a small repair cost given how heavily we've used it.

Your machine is ingenious in design. It works very well and makes consistently great coffee. And it is very durable. Your customer service is excellent as well! I have had a couple unusual issues over time and your team walked me through a solution successfully each time. Very satisfactory! I definitely recommend your units. They are well worth the money. The BEST coffe I have ever had

FAQ helped me with my problem of brewer being blocked. Spinn has been excellent!
I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the darned corkscrew! How a sophisticated piece of electronics like this wound up with a flimsy, plastic part such as the “corkscrew” baffles the mind. This tiny, flaccid 6 inch part clogs constantly. Even with cleaning & descaling often. That one part jams the whole machine & stops it from working. Removing it is another huge issue. More cheap looking plastic “wheels” inside if you manage to unscrew the tiny screw that keeps the corkscrew in place. You then wrestle with it for 15 minutes before it comes loose. We use the machine often & have to this every 3 weeks. Please do better. The coffee is good!

I’m very excited to say I’ve been using my current Spinn coffee maker since 2022, and love the coffee it produces and the functionality of it too! There are a few things I wish could be updated to make the machine better but a better all around experience for current and prospective new customers. One of the issues, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has experienced this is, when not using Spinn partnered coffee beans, there is no viable option for the system to brew the coffee beans one has. I’ve uploaded outside coffee beans names, brands, etc but I’m never seeing an option of it being actually uploaded for future reference or use. The system provides you with a partnered brand and provides you brew options for the partnered brand. Again, this is not something that will cause me to leave a bad review, but after 3 years one would hope we can have the Spinn machine cater to outside brewers. The other issue I’ve experienced are the error messages. I’ve gotten them occasionally, but never provided a solution on how to remedy the error. If these issues can be looked into and resolved, it would make for current owners and future owners a lot more happier, and offer a better product. Can’t wait for the Spinn2 to ship and try as I have been patiently waiting and want to see first hand the new upgrades!

I’ve been using the Spinn coffee maker for over two years, and it’s been a game-changer. The Bluetooth capability lets me start brewing from bed, and the app is user-friendly, offering personalized recipes for each type of coffee bean. The coffee is always perfectly brewed, and I love the seasonal recipes it offers. When I needed customer service, they were responsive and helpful. While the maintenance (cleaning and descaling) takes some time, the app makes it easy to follow. Overall, it’s a reliable, quality machine that has consistently delivered great results!
I’m pleased with the overall ease and quality of coffees brewed with the Spinn. The machine itself is good except for the grinder. I took the cap off over grinder (as per instructed) and still have to regulate the bean when it is grinding so I can get a full grind. I do wish too, some improvements would be made with the app to support personal tastes and use patterns. For instance, I like ½ decaf and ½ Vanilla Nut regular so I mix my beans. I cannot post my beans. Also the standards built in for cleaning and filters cause alerts far earlier than use would dictate. The data is there for use, so why not base it solely on use instead of time? I do appreciate reminders when actually time but should be more customized to actual use since we personalize our coffee, water and beans.

I’m overall pleased with the ease and quality of coffees brewed with the Spinn. The machine itself is great! I do wish some improvements would be made with the app to support personal tastes and use patterns. For instance, I support my neighborhood roasters and buy beans locally. I find that most of the time when I add the source (and get thanked for adding to the app) that it does not save any information. I have to try adding roasters again the next time I use the same beans. I’d love to use recipes and save adjustments but this doesn’t seem possible (and is likely so that I’m driven to the marketplace, but that’s never going to happen). Also, as a single user, the standards built in for cleaning and filters cause alerts and errors far earlier than use would dictate. The data is there for use, so why not base it solely on that instead of time? I think this is another way to drive sales of parts (and I do appreciate reminders when actually timely) but should be more customized to actual use.

I really liked the AI feature that allow you to fine tune the taste of your coffee. I no longer see it, however. Has it been permanently removed?

I truly love my Spinn, it is the best. The coffee is great, I prefer the Spinn made coffee to any coffee house. I only have two items that make it a hinderance, the cleaning schedule is monthly and you have to do it timely or your warranty is void. I found it out the hard way as i slacked on my monthly cleaning periodically, I would wait a few weeks when I got the message and after only having the machine for a year, the heater went out. Customer service was great and I got to send it in for repair and purchase an extrended warranty. I do think that it is an expensive coffee maker and the maintenance gets expensive as well. I loved my machine so much that I wanted it back! I am hoping by cleaning it immediately when I get the message that it will last me over a year this time.

If the bean is on the smaller side, it grinds way too much and clogs up. If the bean is too large/oily, it doesn’t feed into the hopper and you have sour, watered-down results

I have 3 of these machines currently, as I am a fan of the coffee it brews. No issue there. Where the machine falls down is how frequently it MUST be cleaned or it will be rendered useless. The seemingly designed in flaw is a plastic part for the coffee residue bin that if not removed by the person dumping the grounds inevitably gets thrown out. While I know it’s there guests don’t and we’ve replaced it on ALL machines. At $15 a piece for a $.50 piece of plastic it hurts. The good news is the machine works fine without it, just a bit messier as the grounds don’t all make it into the residue bin.

I like the app that lets you start the brew from any location but the negatives include the maintenance of the grinder screw which is held in place by a very tiny screw. When the transfer screw clogs, you have to remove the holding screw which is very small and difficult to access. This is a poor design. Additionally, you can't really use all of one blend before having to add another to keep the hopper full. This results in a mix of flavors. This machine is definitely made for countertop operation and an under counter or appliance garage storage makes it difficult to manage, especially the water tank access in the back. It was a gift, otherwise I wouldn't have bought one. The Spinn 2 seems to have improved upon some of these issues however.

If you ever need a coffee maker. Don’t hesitate. Every penny you spend it’s worth. You won’t find nothing better. Excellent support. If needed.

The coffee is great, machine is easy to use however the warranty is okay and we've had to pay for our machine to be repaired twice in the last two years.

I bought my current Spinn when the initial presale first began and received it in June of 2021. It did take much longer to receive it than first advertised, but I did finally get it and it was worth the wait. I had very few problems with it for several years before it began giving me problems; I was told that I had made around 7000 cups. I was also told that I had been somewhat delinquent in regular cleaning; they were right and I probably did miss a month here and there or was late in the monthly cleaning. Spinn worked with me giving instructions on special cleaning methods and even remote cleaning which did help some, but it did finally fail completely in January 2025. They offered me a very reasonable deal on an additional one yar warranty which would repair my machine and be in force for an additional year; free shipping and 2 week return. I went for it and all their promises were met; I do have to do the required maintenance to keep the warranty valid, fair enough. I ordered the Spinn2 when it was first announced and can't wait to get it. I will put the original one in the Motorhome and the new one in my kitchen.
I Love this coffee. I compared Spinn coffee to Starbucks coffee And my gosh! I Love it. Better taste than Starbucks. I drink Starbucks everyday since I tried Spinn coffee never Go back to Starbucks coffee. Thanks to my bf he Bought me a New Spinn coffee maker for a Christmas gift..
