Notes from the curator
The Rwanda Hingakawa is full of deep-seated notes which remain hidden at lighter profiles. Because of this I develop the coffee more and finish with more energy, resulting a medium roast level. Some of the tasting notes include baking spices (clove and anise), plum, with an overall raspberry acidity that reminds one of chai. For this coffee I suggest a pourover brew method with 25 grams coffee to 410 grams water. This coffee also preforms well in full immersion brew methods as well.
