Notes from the curator

Our Burundi Ngozi Bavyeyi is from a female owned and operated collective with over 600 experienced members developing best practices to strengthen each new crop. Bavyeyi, which means “parents” in Kirundi, references the generations of families that helped develop this singular selection. Burundi produces such a small amount of coffee each year that we must savor each cup.
