Notes from the curator
Arabica coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia where it has been commercially cultivated for over five hundred years. The coffees grown here are heirloom varietals, highly valued for their nuanced fruit tones, sweetness and complexity. The natural process coffees of Ethiopia (those which are patio dried in the cherry, rather than being pulped and fermented in tanks) are specifically known for their distinctive dried blueberry notes, complex flavor, and syrupy body.
