It all started with a little girl in Colombia, who grew up having to face the difficulties of growing coffee in her country.

Progeny was born out of necessity to reinvent a broken coffee chain where the hardest workers are the ones suffering the most. We pride ourselves on improving the farmers’ livelihood by giving back the extra income generated and eliminating unnecessary middlemen. We offer the farmers free education and provide them with alternative distribution methods. We thrive on opening up a window to the source, bridging the gap between the consumer and the farmer. With all these efforts, the impact can be seen in the coffee farmers' homes, communities and in the quality of the final product - the coffee.

Progeny Coffee was founded by a fifth-generation Colombian coffee farmer and when Maria saw that a cup sells for $5 it didn’t make sense that her community could be in such despair. So she founded Progeny with the mission to always go the extra mile to help farmers get out of poverty.
