Not sure why this roast has semi-negative reviews. We love it for drip and espresso. It just hits differently. It's got a unique body and taste. It's more of a medium roast, rather than dark. It's worth a try if you want to switch it up from your usual.
Don’t know coffee not being breed the way it should
At least in the Spinn, this has produced poor espresso. We’ve had a really hard time optimizing the extraction to get rid of sour notes, and even then, and even on the espresso+ setting, the crema is poor. Would probably be quite a bit better for French press or pour over.
