n Kirundi, Bahire means “be well.” The women of Bahire are producing exceptional coffee. This small microlot is from the women producers who own and run the farms and the washing station. Torque started working with JNP last year by getting samples from well before the coffee was ready, we cupped through dozens and dozens of lots of coffee from super early parchment type samples through the long preparation stages. This microlot consistently stood out to our team with its clarity and sweetness.
