We have many relationships with our producers which allows us access to the best-tasting coffees around the world.  We roast to bring out sweetness and fruit acidity and love to teach our customers about the amazing flavors inherent in the bean.  Always part of community events and a leader in making coffee approachable to all.  We spread happiness and good coffee daily. We are a multi-time Golden Bean North America Award winner, taking 2nd Place Overall at the 2017 competition, 2021 Good Food Awards Finalist and Roast Magazine 2023 Roaster of the Year Finalist.

The word “ethos” is defined as “a manifestation of beliefs and aspirations” - and Ethos Roasters is a company that embodies our most noble aspirations to make a difference in the world through coffee.

We begin by sourcing the most socially-impactful, highest-quality coffee beans we can, roasting them with scientific care (in state-of-the-art 15-kilo and 10-kilo drum roasters, by PhD and MD holders), and packaging and shipping them as soon as they are roasted. We only roast on order (no coffee inventory ever!) so we can always ship your coffee just hours after roasting. 

Yet, our definition of coffee "greatness" goes well beyond high quality and unparalleled freshness - it prioritizes the impact behind each bean. In fact, our passion for coffee is only surpassed by our desire to make a difference in the lives of small coffee farmers (over wealthy large farmers or Estates which tend to dominate Specialty coffee). Our biggest success story is a small farmer Co-Op in Poaquil, Guatemala, which was able to buy their own coffee processing equipment in 2019 and continues to grow with us!
