The word “ethos” is defined as “a manifestation of beliefs and aspirations” - and Ethos Roasters is a company that embodies our most noble aspirations to make a difference in the world through coffee.

We begin by sourcing the most socially-impactful, highest-quality coffee beans we can, roasting them with scientific care (in state-of-the-art 15-kilo and 10-kilo drum roasters, by PhD and MD holders), and packaging and shipping them as soon as they are roasted. We only roast on order (no coffee inventory ever!) so we can always ship your coffee just hours after roasting. 

Yet, our definition of coffee "greatness" goes well beyond high quality and unparalleled freshness - it prioritizes the impact behind each bean. In fact, our passion for coffee is only surpassed by our desire to make a difference in the lives of small coffee farmers (over wealthy large farmers or Estates which tend to dominate Specialty coffee). Our biggest success story is a small farmer Co-Op in Poaquil, Guatemala, which was able to buy their own coffee processing equipment in 2019 and continues to grow with us! We are a specialty coffee roaster in Orange County, California that focuses on coffee grown in Jamaica. We roast 100% Blue Mountain Coffee and various other varietals that we blend with Blue Mountain Coffee. 

Single Farm Micro Lot, Anaerobic Process, Organic and Fairtrade - Wonderful! Red ripe cherries of Catuai, Caturra, Red and Yellow Bourbon, Typica and Pacas varietals grown at 1,550 meters are placed in sealed tanks and deprived of oxygen prior to pulping and drying to produce a crisp flavor profile of lemongrass, bergamot and red apple. Light Medium Roast
